Teaching Islamic Values Through Fun & Play

"Hurry, go pray... salat time is running out!”

"Did you make duas?"

If you’ve found yourself saying these phrases to your children on repeat, only to hear the usual response - "I'm going to!", or "I forgot!" - then you're not alone. The struggle is real!

It's not easy getting children to do something. It's even more challenging encouraging them to form a healthy relationship with Allah, and develop a genuine love for prayer. Daily reminders don't always work - as kids are experts at tuning us out! - but the good news is, we know what does.

You can instill a spark in children by teaching them responsibility in a positive, enjoyable and inspiring way to help them establish a long-lasting and mindful bond with their deen.

To help with the process, we are over the moon to share the newest addition to our product line: The MuslimMoon Salat Scorecard. This colourful, magnetic dry-erase board looks great and is easy to use. It also has a lot of motivational elements that both you and your kids will love!

Here's why we think this fantastic learning tool will be a hit in your home.

Establishes Routines and Accountability

Like adults, children feel more confident and secure when their daily activities are familiar. A consistent daily schedule and step-by-step routines give children:

  • A feeling of control in starting and completing tasks
  • Allows them to plan next steps for success
  • Encourages learning and independent goal-setting

The Salat Scorecard is a weekly schedule with five spaces allotted for each daily prayer for an entire week. It allows kids to remember, track, and reward themselves for prayers accomplished.

A schedule placed in a designated area (like your child's bedroom) lets both you and your child to track expectations, and their wins, every day. You can let the scorecard do the tracking for you. More importantly though, you can empower your child in the process and shift your interactions from a frustrated Drill Sergeant to a much calmer, supportive and motivating parent.

A Holistic Approach to Faith

Islam teaches us to apply our faith in everything we do. It encourages Muslims to find identity, meaning and purpose in life through connections to Allah, the sunnah of the Prophet PBUH, the community, the natural world and spiritual values like compassion and peace.

Our Salat Scorecard was designed with this holistic concept in mind. Building a habit is a process, and there will be great days and days that are just OK. While kids work on trying to achieve their daily prayers, they can also strive to perform other daily activities, like:

  • Reciting Quran
  • Giving Sadaqah
  • Telling the truth
  • Doing dhikr
  • Doing good deeds
  • And so much more!

As a bonus, we have included a dry erase pen and extra magnets so you may customize values and actions that you want to encourage in your home.

"Allah is beautiful, and He loves beauty."

We are attracted to beautiful things — that’s just how Allah made us! Like all our products, this Scorecard is a lovely addition to any room. It features attractive colours and images that are sure to grab your child's attention.

Children are often more excited by cute pictures, cartoons and designs over plain words or verbal cues. This set includes over 150 creatively and durably designed magnets to help little hands reach out and engage in daily spiritual activities. We've also included a storage pouch to help keep everything in one place.

The MuslimMoon Scorecard was designed by parents for parents, and we hope you find it as beneficial as we do! With a little excitement and encouragement, your little one can be inspired to initiate good deeds and complete prayers in the most positive way.

May Allah give all parents patience and strength to raise righteous children and make our homes a warm, loving, and encouraging environment to foster Islamic values and traditions.
